Upcoming fires: Seattle area
These fires are being held in connection with the Sacred Fire Community and the many fires that are being lit across the world.
Fires are generally the second Friday of every month. In spring and summer, potluck is at 7pm and fire at 8pm; in fall and winter, potluck is at 6pm and fire at 7pm.
Dear Seattle Sacred Fire Community,
We'll be meeting around the fire this month on our usual second Friday. Come join us as we celebrate summer and independence, from which we can relearn our interdependence through community.

Offerings will be made until 9PM,
but feel free to show up when you can.

WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a folding chair or two if you live nearby. Some food to share, a piece of wood (if you come across one or two), blankets, dress for the weather, your beautiful selves. Also, bring music, poetry, stories to share in the spirit of exchange.

Thank you for all the beautiful wood that has made its way to our wood pile and into the fire. Please continue bringing some to share, especially those of you further away from urban concrete.
The summer issue of Around the Fire newsletter is out. Please contact me if you'd like to subscribe. We'll have some copies on hand at the fire for you to sample.

From the North
Take I-5 South to I-90 East. Take the first exit to Rainier Ave. South heading south. Continue south on Rainier through the Columbia City business district, about 2.9 miles, to South Lucile St. Turn left. We're about 1/4 mile up, a small green house on the right, second house in from the Hilman City Pea Patch.
From the South
Take I-5 North to Exit 157, MLK Way. Merge on to MLK Way heading north for 3.6 miles to S. Orcas St. Turn right for 1/2 mile to Rainier Ave. S. Turn left for .1 mile to South Lucile. Turn right. We're about 1/4 mile up, a small green house on the right, second house in from the Hilman City Pea Patch.
