Dave Pollard over at How to Save the World hosts a salon of thought and imagery around waking us up to what's really happening in the world and how we relate in it/to it.  He's a powerful synthesizer of disparate strands of information around these topics.  Here's his byline for the site:   environmental philosophy, creative works, business papers and essays.  In search of a better way to live and make a living, and a better understanding of how the world really works.

In 2006 Dave put together a bibliography of resources on these topics, and just updated it yesterday (July 4, 2008).  Apparently he's in the process of revitalizing the list, but this update is a great place to start.
